Be Classical South Florida's Regional Account Manager:
The Regional Account Manager is responsible for securing new underwriters (clients) at the launch of WNPS, Classical South Florida (CSF) to meet income targets. Service, renew and increase funding levels of clients to meet both new income and renewal rate targets (if applicable). Assist with other development and marketing activities as assigned.
Identify new underwriting prospects using all prospecting tools available, including but not limited to: broadcast, print and online media; social media; trade publications (marketing, advertising, industry specific); business contacts; networking opportunities; referrals.
Prepare written and in-person presentations designed to meet prospect needs and resources.
Prepare written and in-person presentations to encourage both a renewed and increased funding commitment from existing clients.
Identify and execute appropriate prospect cultivation that results in sales cycle closure.
Regularly communicate new and renewing business results to manager. Generate weekly reports to show prospective income to be generated and to recap weekly sales activities.
Work with prospects, funders and internal CSF and American Public Media staff to prepare effective and acceptable underwriting credits (on-air scripts).
Identify and execute appropriate client cultivation that results in continued Classical South Florida funding (Adhere to high maintenance, low maintenance portfolio management techniques).
Participate in the creation and/or revision of sales and marketing materials.
Identify on-line sponsorship and advertising opportunities for both current clients and prospects.
Continuously look for ways to refine and enhance support systems such as traffic, billing, contact management system (ACT), Arbitron, Qualitap, Tapscan, etc.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of two (2) years sales experience in broadcasting or other media.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proven track record of successfully meeting income targets through both prospecting and client upgrades.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel programs at minimum.
Sales experience in, and extensive knowledge of the Fort Myers/Naples market area.
Excellent communication skills.

Ability and eagerness to sell in a challenging environment focused on building a significant public service media company.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of Classical music, and public radio programs.
General knowledge of radio formats, and audiences.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
o Required to move about in an office environment and sit for extended periods of time
o Required to move about in the community
o Frequent use of hands for data entry/keystrokes and simple grasping.
o This position requires working from home in the Fort Myers/Naples market area, and on the road.
o Candidate must travel to Fort Lauderdale a minimum of twice per month for meetings. More often for initial training.
