The Senior Project Manager, APMG/CRM, will work across the company to plan, direct, and oversee the successful design, implementation, and execution of APMGs Constituent Relationship Management project. S/he will play a key role in developing and setting priorities for the CRM implementation in support of with the companys overall strategic objectives. S/he will also be responsible for managing outside vendors and the overall budget of the project. The Senior Project Manager will manage interdepartmental collaboration, and facilitate building consensus on program requirements and CRM core functions and services. Additionally s/he will develop immediate, mid and long-term planning for the CRM rollout and APMG user training, orientation, and integration with APMG divisional workflows, teams, and systems. The ideal candidate will: Possess a high level ability to facilitate and communicate change management, goal alignment, and project management protocols; have a proven track record in successfully implementing complex, cross-departmental projects; have experience in the non-profit sector, with a broad knowledge of public media processes, development and constituent relations. Lastly, the ideal candidate will have a vision as to how CRM implementation evolves into a more proactive role that would maximize CRM across the company once initial systems are in place.
Position Responsibility:
Organize, direct and oversee the implementation of the CRM project across all APMG properties and divisions.
Contract Management: Work with relevant department leads and legal to ensure timely negotiations, renewals, and changes.
Recruitment: Manage the process for searches including timelines and steps, develop and maintain talent lists for specific jobs related to the CRM project.
Financial: Review spending and operational practices for greater efficiency throughout the project. Working with finance and division leads, ensure timely and accurate budget tracking, identifying key issues that arise throughout the project.
Develop best practices in implementation, including effective time management and training.
Develop change management strategies to support the CRM implementation, with an eye toward potentially departmentalizing the oversight and exploitation of CRM once implemented.
Develop project management timelines or other tracking systems to organize deliverables and communicate the status of the project or the cumulative affect of the projects. Keep stakeholders informed of status of deliverables.
Ensure financial reports are appropriate and provided on a timely basis. Provide reports to other staff as needed.
Participate in organization-wide activities aimed at speeding adoption of CRM.

Specific project management activities:
Leads the CRM team and manages the coordination of stakeholders in the CRM project.
Leads a collaborative process around planning for the project and controls the project across several areas, including:
 Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan
 Developing and executing an internal communication plan
 Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan.
 Determining and reporting project status.
 Recording and managing project issues and decisions.
 Resolving cross-functional issues at the project level.
 Developing and maintaining a risk management plan.
 Creating and approving change orders, or gaining approval for change orders as necessary.
 Escalating where necessary.
 Monitoring project progress and performance.
 Ensures that the project team has the appropriate resources in place to succeed.
 Uses appropriate project management methods and tools.
 Negotiates team member availability to project with functional area manager where requested team member commitment differs (more) from original assignment.
Required Education and Experience:
Five or more years project management or related leadership experience using a project management methodology, including experience managing the work of others.
Experience in successfully developing/overseeing projects nationwide.
Experience in budget preparation, analysis, and monitoring.
Experience in successfully working across many departments and groups to implement complex projects.

Experience in CRM or other broad-based software implementations.
Experience in development (fund-raising, membership, major gifts).
Deep knowledge of APMGs constituent companies and divisions.
Knowledge of the public broadcasting system television and radio desirable.
